Jack Slentz studied sculpture at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and then earned his M.F.A. at the University of Memphis. He went on to teach sculpture at the University of Central Arkansas, finally settling in New Mexico where he was an associate professor at Santa Fe Community College. Slentz’s work has been widely exhibited across the United States, and resides in numerous private and public collections including the National Museum of American Art, Washington, DC; New Mexico Museum of Art, Santa Fe;
Museum of Art and Design, New York; Minneapolis Institute of the Arts, Philadelphia Museum of Art and more.
