- shaken but tight binding, loose hinges, detached frontispiece and tissue guard, page discoloration and slight foxing, edge wear, bowing, bumped and cocked spine, and slight rubbing to cloth; name and date written in purple ink to front free endpaper and graphite marks to front pastedown.
