Shaped by the Abstract Expressionist movement of the early 20th century, DiGiorgio developed a painting style resembling a modern form of pointillism. He is most known for his paintings featuring imagery from American landscapes rendered in large round dots and bright color schemes. DiGiorgio was born in Brooklyn and attended Cooper Union during the 1950s. His works have been featured in gallery exhibitions including Michael Walls Gallery and Kouros Gallery.
