A 1638 finely rebound edition of the Holy Bible. Revisions and corrections to the early 1629 Cambridge Holy Bible were further carried out in this 1638 edition. This volume features a uniform use of italics and new verses including Acts, Chapter VI, Verse 3 which reads ‘…, whom ye may appoint’. This edition was considered the standard Bible until 1762 when Dr. Paris’ Cambridge Bible was published. This volume features all the books of the New and Old Testament, the books of the Apocrypha, the whole book of Psalmes and prayers.
