- overall with various scratches, marks, nicks/chips, shrinkage cracks, and abrasions consistent with age and use; scattered finish wear/losses; some chips/losses and repairs to applied case moldings and to inlaid stringing along edges of drawer fronts; one of the upper side panels of each pedestal has been overlaid with a thin, later board in order to cover the holes/joints where they connected to the top of the sideboard (now absent); lion’s mask handles are associated; no key; other possible imperfections, wear, and repairs/restorations.
