A poster for an exhibition of works by well listed artist Markus Pierson (1961 – ) at the Joan Cawley Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Markus’ story is an interesting one. For a long time he lead the life of a book keeper, and after a near death experience woke up in the hospital sure that he wanted to become a successful artist. He’s done just that despite everyone thinking he was crazy. This poster features one of Pierson’s beautiful paintings centered around his coyote character, a theme that repeats throughout the artist’s oeuvre that was begun in ’86. The poster is presented in a distressed black wooden frame.

Some light wear to frame, otherwise in superb condition.
