Charles William Duvall was an artist and teacher from Columbus, Ohio. He studied under Edward Parker Hayden, as well as spending several years painting in Europe. He settled in Columbus where he continued to paint and teach. At the time of his death at 101 years old, Duvall was regarded as one of the city’s most influential and well-loved artists. His work is represented in the Columbus Museum of Art permanent collection.
