Todd Michael Camp is an Ohio-based artist and lecturer with over 30 years experience who is primarily known for his abstract expressionist paintings. Born in Ashland, Ohio in 1966, he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the Columbus College of Art and Design. The primary theme of Camp’s work is the visual storytelling of physical locations and the personal connections that humanity makes with these structures which lends them emotional gravity. In producing his artwork, Todd Camp utilizes mixed media often associated with architecture, including house paint, spray paint, tar and shellac, in addition to the more traditional mediums of acrylic and collage. Camp’s art has been exhibited across the country, and has received numerous awards including several ‘Best of Show’ prizes from the Mansfield Art Center. He is currently affiliated with Art Access Gallery in Bexley, Ohio.
