A group of two antique Italian coins and a gold Mexican fantasy token. Included is a Rome, Italy Zecche Urbano VIII Giulio silver coin, circa 1623-1644. Metal content: silver. Obverse: ‘VRBAN VIII PONT MAX’ with coat of arms. Reverse: ‘MONSTRA TE ESSE MATREM’ with Virgin Mary holding Jesus and ‘Romae’. Diameter: 25 mm. Weight: approximately 2.9 grams. Also included is a 1784 Duchy of Savoy, Italian State, two denari coin. Metal content: copper. Diameter: 16 mm. Weight: approximately 1.8 grams. Lot also includes a replica 1865 Mexico Emperor Maximilliam 22K gold fantasy token. Metal content: 91% gold. Diameter: 10 mm. Weight: approximately 0.5 grams. The coins vary in condition. The Italian coins are worn and have punch marks.
