Item Details

A hand-knotted Pakistani Bokhara wool room sized rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of cream, burnt orange, mauve, charcoal, and black. The cream colored field features a lattice of Tekke guls and chemche guls, while framed in a main rosette border. Helping frame the field are hooked motifs, and diamond minor borders, as well as diamond lattice elem panels. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
