Additional Information Hand-stitched Chinese floral embroideries intended for use as appliqué decoration, mounted on silk with original paper supports cut away. Stitched using the “Peking Knot”, also known as the “Forbidden Stitch” as a filler, with wrapped coil thread outlines.

Condition

- slight discoloration to threads; wrinkles and minor warping to designs; edges of original paper support visible in places; pulled and loose stitches.
