‘History of America in Stamps’ and ‘International Tributes to the History of Flight’ stamp sets. The ‘History of America in Stamps’ set was produced by the Postal Commemorative Society and includes 126 panels, each of which contain historical information on a specific event, a postmark, and a commemorative stamp. Each panel is illustrated in color as well and measures 12′ × 9 1/8’. Lot also includes ‘International Tributes to the History of Flight’; this set contains fifty cachets, each of which highlight a particular important event in aviation history along with featuring a mint condition vintage stamp that is related to the subject at hand. Cachets are postmarked in the city or country that the cachet highlights. Original display box measures 8 1/4′ × 8 1/2′ × 5 7/8’. Stamps are in unused/mint condition.
