Kim Krause is best known for his abstract paintings and vivid use of color. His work draws from themes from mythology and philosophy to create visual poetry. Krause influenced numerous emerging artists during his time at the Art Academy of Cincinnati as a long time professor and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Academic Dean. His works are represented in numerous public and corporate collections including Atlantic Richfield, Cincinnati Art Museum, Chase Manhattan Bank, Federated National Headquarters, Fidelity Investments, the Procter and Gamble Company, the Federal Reserve Bank, among others.
