Item Details
A Colonial America 5 Shillings Continental Currency banknote from 1773. Note is dated October 1st, 1773 and features three signatures and a serial number of 4544. Back of the note states ‘To counterfeit is death’ and depicts a farm field. Note printed by Hall and Sellers. Note measures 3 5/8′ × 2 7/8’. Note is circulated and has two old folds/creases.
