A Colonial America 6 Pence Continental Currency banknote from 1777. Note is dated April 10th, 1777 and features one signature and a serial number of 117893. Back of the note states, ‘To counterfeit is death.’ Note produced in Philadelphia by John Dunlap. Note is circulated and features a few old folds/creases. Note measures 3′ × 2 1/2’.
