A group of six different circa 1860 Virginia obsolete fifty cents currency notes including the following: 1861 corporation of Richmond, 1862 state of Virginia, county of Richmond, 1862 county of Prince Edward, 1861 corporation of Winchester, 1861 city of Lynchburg, and a different variety 1861 corporation of Winchester. Please see pictures for more details. Size varies up to approximately 6 3/4′ × 2 3/4’. The notes are circulated with varying conditions.
