Item Details

International coinage group containing about 325 foreign coins plus a few bus, tax, gaming and store tokens, and a U.S. copper-nickel 3 cent piece and 2 cent piece. Coins come from over 50 countries including Russia, Canada, Central and South America, and the Caribbean. The foreign coins include a Prussian 1860A Thaler and a group of 7 German Empire coins including a silver mark, a kreuzer from the 1760s (country not determined), an 1807 Bavaria pfenning, an 1842 Wurttemberg 3 kreuzer, and an 1849 6 kreuzer from Austria. Canadian coins include 2 each silver Elizabeth II quarters and half dollars, an 1886 quarter, and 1890 and 1918 silver five cent pieces. Great Britain coins include a Victoria holed silver 2 pence. Other silver coins include a Philippines 1944D 20 centavos and a Cuba 1920 10 centavos. Also included are two 1933 Chicago World’s Fair rolled cents from the Republic of China exhibit.
