A 20th century African carved and painted Baga serpent sculpture from the Bansonyi people of Guinea, Africa. The sculpture is in vertical, undulating form leading to a tapered neck and triangular head. The geometric pattern in relief is painted black and white with a red spine up the back and bands at the neck. The sculpture is professionally mounted on an unobtrusive black metal base.

- include paint loss and wood cracks.
