Ernest Hemingway Letters, Bulletins, and Ephemera in Faux Leather Binder, 1930s

A unique 1930s Ernest Hemingway collection. This includes an invitation to the Officers’ Club- 130th Field Artillery Annual Formal Ball, a hand addressed envelope to Mr. and Mrs. Hemingway from 1938, a pamphlet and letter from the American Committee for Protection of Foreign Born from 1936, and a request for donation from the Rev. F. Joseph Kelly, editor of the Truth Magazine, addressed to Mrs. Hemingway.
Additional pieces are from the Whaley-Easton Service, News-Week, The Players, the Queens County Tourist Association, McCall’s, alongside a bank statement from 1926 for Pauline Hemingway.
The lot includes 1933 letter from the editor of United States Army Ambulance Service Association, for which Hemingway was an adviser, and 1932 Medical Bureau and North American Committee letter that mentions Hemingway on verso under Writers and Artist Committee. It is presented in a faux leather binder.
