The antique blue rolling pin is an antique souvenir often purchased by sailors to take home as gifts. British rolling pins were frequently manufactured at glassworks in the coastal area of Bristol. The end has an opening that was frequently filled with dry goods, spices or salt. The blue rolling pin is thought to be from the early to mid 1800s and was purchased in England. The clear glass rolling pin is vintage.
