Mark Rosen is a central Ohio based sculptor and welder devoted to experimentation with texture and form in his medium. He received his arts education from Ohio State University, the Columbus College of Art and Design, and the Columbus Cultural Arts Center, and has also studied metal sculpting under Carlos Regazzoni in Paris, France. Rosen’s portfolio of work includes both fanciful folk art style renderings of animals and natural forms, as well as highly detailed and realistic metal and mixed media sculptures of everyday items and cultural touchstones such as Prada bags and Converse shoes. Mark Rosen’s artwork has been exhibited at Skylab Gallery, the Columbus Jewish Community Arts and Crafts Fair, and the Ohio State Fair Fine Arts Exhibition.
