A large Colonial-Revival tall case or grandfather clock in carved oak, having an arched, dentil-molded cornice and foliate carved frieze, above a gilt metal face with black Arabic numerals. The hood is supported on reeded columns, above a molded base with a stylized, egret carved panel. An engraved metal medallion reads “Gesetzlich Geschützt and Tonverstärker (protected by law / sound amplification or sound amplifier)”.
