Fourteen commemorative coins cast in sterling silver representing each of the signers of the American Constitution. Presented in a slant hinged top walnut wood box on bun feet, featuring a carved eagle holding 2 flags. A brass engraved plaque is attached to the exterior front that reads:‘The Signers of the Constitution / FIRST EDITION PROOF SET / Harry W. Arnold’. Each bears markings on the sides: Sterling / Makers Mark / 2 digit date mark / and origin mark. Please note that this set is not complete.
Included: Gouverneur, Morris, Pierce Butler, William Few, James Madison, John Blair, Daniel Carroll, Richard Basset,
George Read, Gunningf Bedford, Jr., John Dickinson, William Blount, Jacob Broom, Alexander Hamilton, and Roger Sherman.
