Guillame Azoulay, well-known for his abstract paintings, was born in Morocco in 1949 and moved with his family to Paris when he was a boy. Largely self-taught, Azoulay sold his paintings to tourists on the streets of Paris. Later, the artist received a degree in drama after being rejected from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. The artist has exhibited throughout the Middle East, Europe, and the United States. Currently settled in California, the artist’s work can be found in numerous private and public collections, including the Louvre.

- stored in a tube, the piece maintains its curl with minor marks to outer margins.
