A lithograph for the Derrière le Miroir by very well-listed innovative artist Wassily Kandinsky (Russian Federation / France, 1866 – 1944) titled Dans le Cercle Noir. Kandinsky lead an impressive career teaching at the Svomas, as a head of The Institute of Artistic Culture in Moscow, a master at the Bauhaus in Germany, among a multitude of other achievements. His highly unique lyrical style and theories on nonfigurative art made him a pioneer of the abstract movement and he continues to influence artists today. Kandinsky’s work is represented in public and private collections and can be viewed in museums across the globe.
