Two Pulitzer Prize winning novels, Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell and The Yearling by Majorie Kinnan Rawlings with illustrations by well known artist N.C. Wyeth (American, 1882 – 1945).
GWTW is a tenth printing of the first edition, published in August 1936 by the Macmillan Company. It is bound in brown cloth-covered boards. This illustrated copy of The Yearling was published in 1940 by Charles Scribner’s Sons and is cloth covered board with an illustrated cover. Neither have dust jackets.
