"Buddy L" Ice Delivery Truck and "Steelcraft" Steam Shovel Toys, Circa 1920s
Item Details
A selection of two antique toy diecast vehicles. From Buddy L and Steelcraft, these collectible toys date to the early 20th Century and are constructed of durable metal. Each toy is marked with the maker’s name and depicts normal play wear. The Steelcraft steam shovel construction toy features its original toothed digging bucket to the end of the arms with string winch. A decal stamped Marion is affixed to its back end and it rests on its original wheels. Finally, there is a Buddy L ice delivery truck with a yellow painted bed presenting a period decal on its side. The vehicle’s original canvas covering is also retained, positioned on red painted rims. These metal toys represent early American transportation at its finest.
