A 1911 first editon of ‘Adventure’ by Jack London. This is the first American edition of this work, published March 1911 by The Macmillan Company, 405 pages. The binding on this copy is very poor, with the front cover largely separated from the pages. Spine is completely worn away. Light pencil mark on first page. Also included in this lot is ‘The Romance of Modern First Editions’ by Henry de Halsalle, published 1931 by J. B. Lippincott Company, Philadelphia, 192 pages. (This book has discoloration to covers and spine from exposure to light.)
