A group of four self-help books, including the 1915 first edition of ‘Frank Hornby: The Boy Who Made $1,000,000 with a Toy’ by M. P. Gould and published by the Meccano Company, Inc. New York, 141 pages. Other titles are ‘It Can Be Done: Poems of Inspiration’ (1928 George Sully & Co.), Norman Vincent Peale’s ‘The Power of Positive Thinking’ (1954 Prentice-Hall); and ’I’m OK – You’re OK’ by Thomas A. Harris, MD.
Condition
The Hornby book has a circular grease or stain that runs through the center of the first few pages. The “Poems of Inspiration” book has considerable damage to spine and front cover.
