- discoloration to painting varnish; frame rub to edges of painting; overpainting present along edges and scattered through composition; craquelure to paint along right edge; folded edge of canvas visible to right edge sitting out of frame; black marks and cloudiness throughout mirror from damage to silvering; wear to frame includes chips and cracks throughout gesso finish and molding, edge wear, and crack to wood frame showing repair to upper left; accretion throughout surfaces.
