An ancient Rome Diocletian AE Follis coin, circa 303-305. Obverse: ‘IMP DIOCLETIANVS AVG’ with laureate, cuirassed bust right. Reverse: ‘GENIO POPV-LI ROMANI’ with Genius standing left, modius on head, naked but for chlamys over left shoulder, hold patera and cornucopiae. S-F across fields. Mintmark PTR. Metal content: copper/bronze. Diameter: 27 mm. Weight: approximately 10.4 grams. The coin is circulated and has some wear.
