A bonded sand relief sculpture Bill Mack titled Illusion. The wall relief depicts a standing female nude to background with a seated female nude in the foreground, appearing to step over the lower edge. Bill Mack is an American sculptor based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota and is known for his use of bonded sand to create high relief sculptures. This technique allows greater depth of form, which can be seen as the woman’s knees and foot project forward, out and over the frame.
