Born in New Jersey, Marian Saubers graduated from the Philadelphia Museum of Art where she studied illustration. She created art throughout her life, including watercolor paintings of interior design, her children, and the beach. Saubers returned to studying at the Philadelphia Academy of the Fine Arts, focusing on printmaking. The continued to make art into her 80s.
