French Louis Philippe Style Solid Mahogany Media Cabinet, Late 19th Century

Item Details

Constructed in the late 19th century, this solid mahogany media cabinet originally served as an armoire in France. Designed in the Louis Philippe stye, the armoire was later shipped to an antique dealer in the United States. It features flamed mahogany throughout, with a gently curved crown, recess pilasters on the case, two doors and two shallow drawers. The doors open to an upper shelf, a lower shelf and a divided compartment. A key is included. The media cabinet can be largely disassembled, or minimally disassembled into three large pieces, crown, case, and base.
