Emma Foertmeyer Rookwood Vase in Standard Glaze, 1890
Item Details
An antique earthenware vase by Cincinnati-born artist Emma D. Foertmeyer (1866-1895), who worked at the pottery beginning in 1887 until her death at age 29 in 1895. It is hand-decorated with yellow floral designs in Standard glaze, and has a Rookwood mark with four flames, corresponding to 1890.
