- both bags include gold tone hardware, leather linings, Eclair metal zippers to the interior pockets and gold tone crescent hardware to pocket edges.
- both bags: markings to exterior skins and interior leather throughout; markings and oxidation to hardware.
- single compartment flap bag: locking slide clasp opens by sliding center portion to the right and locks by sliding center portion to the left; interior coin purse frame has a gap at the right side when closed.
- three compartment flap bag: locking clasp opens by pulling down on the curved base; moderate to heavy edge wear with abrasion and loss; leather cracking and dehydration to interior gussets.
