Obverse: ‘DN IVSTINIANVS PP AVG’ with helmeted, cuirassed bust facing front, holding globus cruciger and shield with horseman motif, cross to right. Reverse: Large M (denoting 40 nummi), ANNO to left, cross above, regnal year XIII to right, mintmark CON. Metal Content: bronze. Diameter: 35 mm. Weight: 20.6 grams. The coin is circulated and has some wear.
