A cast bronze sculpture on marble base with pedestal by well-listed French artist and educator Alexandre Falguiere (1831 – 1900) titled Bust of a Woman. Falguiere was also a painter but is best known for his sculptures often depicting mythological figures. His works are represented in the collections of the Musée d’Orsay, the Metropolitan Museum of Art among others and was commissioned to create numerous public works.
