Yolanda Fusco was born in Czechoslovakia in 1920 and immigrated to the United States when she was ten years old. She studied at the Art Students League and Pratt Institute and was a founding member of the Women Artists of Monhegan Island. She is most known for her paintings and textile designs. She was a member of the National Association of Women Artists and her work is represented in the Monhegan Museum of Art and History and the Owen Art Gallery at Gould Academy.
