| Additional Information | Wolverine Raceway, otherwise known as the Detroit Race Course, replaced the old track at the Michigan State Fairgrounds in 1950, with its first harness race won of July 17th. It continued as a popular thoroughbred and harness racetrack until 1985, and was demolished in 1999. |
