A watercolor painting on paperboard by Italian artist Giuseppe Guidi (1884 – 1931). This painting depicts an Orientalist style scene complete with a dancing female figure draped in fabric, a seated musician playing the krar, and a reclining male figure smoking a long pipe. The artist’s signature is present to the lower right corner. It is housed behind glass in a gold toned frame with hanging wire to the verso.
