Colonial Revival Victrola-Victor Oak Talking Machine, Circa 1910s

An early 20th-Century Victrola-Victor talking machine presented in oak. Presenting Victor and The Baldwin Piano Co advertising decals affixed to this musical piece, this talking machine was created as an upright cabinet floor model, with a metal plaque that reads ‘VV-XI 732663.’ This floor model was Victor’s most profitable model in the 1910s with production seizing in 1921. This type of talking machine is referred to as a ‘gramophone’ and comes with assorted Victor records, side metal cranking handle, and metal arm consisting of the playing needle. With accompanying original metal key, this antique talking machine powered on when tested but accuracy and consistency are unknown. The oak cabinet floor unit contains four doors with numerous shelving slots allowing storage for your favorite records.
