This rectangular mahogany dining table features a mahogany surface with satinwood string inlay and flamed edge banding, a double pedestal reeded base, with brass lion claw feet and casters. The Chippendale style chairs feature a carved crest rail, with a fretwork vase shaped splat, striped upholstered seat and marlborough legs. The table includes two leaves, with a protective surface pads. The table is marked “Baker Furniture, Historic Charleston.” The chairs are unmarked but purchased with the table.
