- overall with various scratches, marks, nicks/small chips, cracks, and abrasions consistent with age and use; left side of upper gallery is reinforced by a later screw (there is a slightly larger chip near the screw); legs were possibly joined by a fourth shelf or by stretchers at one time (now missing) as is suggested by shadows and filled holes; other possible imperfections and wear.
