Isaac Kahn was born in Kaunas, Lithuania. Being influenced by art since a young age, at 14 he moved to Israel and enrolled in art school. Later, Kahn moved to Uruguay in 1973 where he continued his studies at the University of Plastic Arts in Montevideo. In 1975, at the age of 25, the artist had his first solo exhibition in the exhibition hall of Montevideo. Here, one of his works was purchased by the widow of the President of Uruguay. Kahn has widely exhibited his work throughout the world. His pieces can be found in public and private collections throughout the US, South America, Israel, Europe, Japan and Korea. - abrasions, nicks, and scratches to arms and legs particularly to inner thighs and right calf; areas of discoloration to patina throughout; loss of patina to right shoulder; abrasions to sphere and base; minor nicks and abrasions to stand; tape residue to upper surface of stand.
