- overall with various scratches, marks, nicks/chips, cracks, and abrasions consistent with age and use; scattered finish wear/losses; some former pest damage (worming) and associated marks and losses; both arms with repairs; feet with repairs and losses; cross-stretchers with a loose central joint; frame as a whole with a slight wobble; seat rails have been built up to accommodate later upholstery and springs; upholstery with variable sunfading, stains/soiling, loose/fraying threads, holes/tears, and losses (revealing underlying horsehair and straw stuffing in some spots); other possible imperfections, wear, and repairs/restorations.
