Beautiful vintage Noritake china in the pattern Nippon Taki Kaisha to show a single evergreen bonsai branch at the edge with clouds of stippled gold dots and delicate gold rims. The china has a sweet story too, it was sent home from Japan in 1954 from a soldier to his new wife for their first anniversary. The extensive set includes dinnerware and serving pieces as follows; 12 dinner plates, 12 bowls, 12 salads, 12 bread and butter, 12 berry bowls, 13 cups and 11 saucers, large oval platter, small oval platter, covered tureen, sauce boat with attached underplate, cream and sugar and an oval serving bowl.
Dimensions
Plates are 10.5" in diameter, large oval platter is 16" wide and the covered tureen measures 8.5" diameter
