Item Details

An art glass pitcher by Kosta Boda artist Gunnel Sahlin. It has a matte, pale yellow to ivory body with glossy black and white arched handle and is signed to the underside.

Originally a textile designer, Sahlin takes her inspiration from strong color palettes shown in the 1960s and Pop culture, and from forms in nature. She spent twenty-two years at Kosta Boda as a designer and maker and has designed for IKEA and Konsthantverkarna, the organisation for Contemporary Swedish Craft, with group and solo exhibitions throughout Sweden and Scandinavia, and in London and Europe.
