Augusto Daini attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and studied under Pietro Barucci. He was known for his watercolor and oil paintings of genre scenes, however he preferred to work with watercolor. Many of his paintings feature clerical figures and opulent interior scenes, exquisitely rendered with meticulous attention to minute details.

Condition

- minor wear, negligible gesso craquelure and minor finish loss throughout the frame; negligible areas of toning partially visible along the composition margins.
