Five Dollar Note From Confederate States Of America

A five dollar note from the Confederate States of America (T-69). The Virginia State Capital is in the center. A Portrait of C.G. Memminger in in the lower right. Hand signed and numbered. Serial Number 93124. Issued on February 17th, 1864 from Richmond, Va. A blue overprint is present to the verso with “FIVE” to center and “5” to the four corners. Please see pictures for more details. Approximately 7 1/4′ × 3′. The note is circulated with some wear.
